Enrollment Policy & Fees
The registration fee, for each session, is payable before a child is accepted into the program.
The monthly tuition is to be paid the first program day of the month.  The daily fee is payable whether or not the session is attended.  We do not refund days missed due to illness or vacation.  Parents are responsible for payment until the program is notified in writing that a child is being withdrawn.
There will be a $10 late fee assessed if the monthly fees are not paid by the 10th of the month.  There will be a $5.00 fee assessed for each five (5) minutes that a child remains after 2:45 p.m, unless notified in advance.
Health:  A current yearly immunization record along with a signed statement of good health (by child’s doctor) must be received by the Program before a child participates in the program.  Children who are ill must be kept at home.  If a child develops a contagious disease at home, the Coordinator should be notified.  Parents will be notified if a communicable disease is developing in the Program.  If a child must receive medication, we ask that parents give the necessary medications to their children.  We enforce a “no nit” policy.
What to bring:  Children should bring a change of clothing and a plastic bag for soiled clothing.  Each child should also bring a blanket, nap mat, and a lunch.  Please put the child’s name on ALL items that your child brings.
Lunch / Snack:  Snacks and juice will be furnished by the program for morning snack time.  Each child should bring a lunch.  Please try not to include foods that must be heated.
Special Instructions:  Please have any special instructions written and ready to hand to the caregiver upon arrival.
Transportation:  Children will not be allowed to leave with anyone other than the designated persons unless written instructions are given to the director, and must know the code word.
Supplies:   In lieu of the parents purchasing supplies, we are charging a supply fee. This way we will be able to buy supplies throughout the year as needed.

First UMC Sachse's Mother’s Day Out Program was started in September 2004.  We began with two teachers in one room with about six kids. As the program grew, we added teachers and separated into classes: two's, three's, and four's.  We have been through a few changes, added a Kinder-Prep class on Wednesdays, and have had a few “graduations” where we watched families go from two's to Kindergarten. This is bittersweet for us, as we are a big family here. We love each and every child!  At this time, we are a small program, with two teachers,  but my prayer is that we will continue to grow and add more kids and teachers.

Right now, we have a two's/young three's class and an older three's/four's class that meet Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 2:30 pm, and our Kinder-Prep class, which meets Wednesdays, 8:30am - 2:30pm.  Our classes are small, which helps us have one to one time with the kids.

Meet Our Mothers Day Out and Kinder-Prep Staff:

Mrs. Wafa is our twos/young threes teacher and has been with the program since July 2005.  She is a very loving teacher who takes time to work with the young ones on their basic skills, eye/hand coordination, centers and crafts. The kids and parents all love her!  Mrs. Wafa and her husband live in Sachse and have two grown children.
Mrs. Tina is our older threes/fours teacher and has been with the program since November 2004. She teaches the children basic skills, eye/hand coordination, crafts, circle time, along with centers and table games.  Mrs. Tina also teaches our Kinder-Prep class on Wednesdays. This class is a more structured class geared toward helping the children understand what kindergarten will be like. Mrs. Tina and her husband live in Sachse and have two young daughters.
I take the care of your children very seriously. I love every one of them as my own, as do my teachers. If you would like more information on our program, please contact me by email at or at (214) 926-8459. We would love to meet you and answer any questions you have.
