UPWARD Basketball & Cheer

 The Upward program offers children Kindergarten through 6th grade
the opportunity to participate in a dynamic program of sports, teamwork,
spiritual development, and just plain FUN!

Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by
-Providing an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities.
-Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week.
-Implementing substitution'(s) for each team;
allowing every child equal playing time.
-Creating the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of the game. 

Each year, 200+ area children participate in this tremendous program here at:
First United Methodist Church of Sachse
a 'Safe Sanctuary' Church!
