At First United Methodist Church Sachse, we believe every child deserves a safe place of unconditional love, and we strive to provide that in everything we do. Children are welcomed into each of our two weekly worship services.
Children's Sunday school is held throughout the year at 9:45am for ages K-6, and all of our teachers are committed to bringing out the best in children so they can grow up to be dedicated followers of Jesus Christ. We hope to see all our children in Sunday school!
For the love of our children, children will only be released to a parent or adult guardian at the end of the Sunday school hour.
For the love of our teachers, parents are asked to remember the covenant we have with those who teach our children: Sunday school ends at 10:30am and parents should come for their children at that time.
For the love of our guests, children are asked to take and eat only one doughnut or snack on Sundays.
For the love of our church, no doughnuts or snacks will be allowed in Sunday school classrooms.
Children are always welcome in our services of worship, activity bags are availabe for children's use.
Parents are also invited to utilize our professionally
staffed nursery for ages newborn to 4 years old of age. Pagers are provided as a courtesy.
Anyone who works with children in our church
undergoes a background check and Ministry Safe training.
